Who can apply for accommodation at Raatuse 22 Student Hostel?
- Short-term students (commonly referred to as visiting/exchange students) studying at the University of Tartu for up to ten months.
- Short-term students and visitors from other universities can also apply, but accommodation is only available if there are vacancies remaining after accommodating University of Tartu students.
The application period for the spring semester opens on January 2nd.
Available spots are allocated based on the order of applications received. Make sure to submit your application promptly to secure accommodation at Raatuse 22 Student Hostel.
Application process
NB! The start date of the contract is February 5th, 2025, which aligns with the University of Tartu’s suggested arrival date.
Before submitting your application, please ensure you are familiar with the living conditions, services, prices, and terms of the residential agreement. This information will help you make an informed decision about your accommodation at Raatuse 22 Student Hostel.
We try to offer accommodation to as many students as possible, and therefore we are not able to offer the option of renting an entire twin room to all those who apply for it.
You can apply for accommodation exactly according to your preferences. Accommodation offers are made based on the order in which applications are received. No one is left out – if it is not possible to make an accommodation offer according to your preferences, we will contact you to find a suitable solution.
Please submit your application as soon as possible to secure accommodation.
- Submit your application online
- Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email along with your E-kyla login information.
- If your application is successful, you will receive an accommodation offer via email.
- You can accept or decline the offer by logging in to the E-kyla system.
- After accepting the offer, you will receive a deposit invoice. The payment deadline is 7 calendar days.
- We recommend making the payment immediately upon receiving the invoice.
- If the deposit is not paid within the deadline, the accommodation offer will be canceled.
Once we receive your payment, we will send you the accommodation confirmation via email.
- You can move into your room starting from the contract’s start date.
- Keys can be collected from the Raatuse 22 reception desk, which is open 24/7.
- After your arrival, you will receive an email with instructions on how to sign the residential agreement.
Important Notice: Students will sign a fixed-term residential agreement corresponding to their official period of studies at the University of Tartu, as indicated in the university’s admissions notification.
Cancelling the accommodation
- If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us by email info@campus.ee
- If the reservation is canceled before the contract begins, the deposit will be refunded in full, minus bank transfer fees.
- If you do not arrive at the Student Hostel within the first 14 days of your accommodation period (as indicated in your application) and do not inform us of your later arrival, the reservation will be canceled.
